The Bristol County Water Authority would like your help in protecting your drinking water supply from cross connection pollution. Cross-Connections between public water supplies and non-potable sources of contamination or private wells represent one of the most significant threats to health in the water supply industry.
The Bristol County Water Authority’s cross connection control program is designed to maintain the safety and potability of the water in the BCWA distribution system. Rules and Procedures have been established to control cross-connection situations using a containment strategy to prevent the contamination of public drinking water from the backflow of water or other fluids into the water distribution system.
