Water Utility Operator
The Bristol County Water Authority is seeking a Water Utility Operator for water system operation, maintenance, and construction. Construction experience, math and science proficiency, high school graduate required. Starting pay $32.36–$36.03 per hour depending on RI Drinking Water Operator Certification. Class B CDL and RI Hoisting license to be obtained within 1 year. A passing grade on a pre-test scheduled for Tuesday, December 1, 2026, at 3:30pm is required for consideration.

Customer Service Representative
The Bristol County Water Authority is seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a full-time Customer Service Representative.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced office environment. Previous general office experience is required, along with excellent telephone skills and the ability to interact professionally and courteously with the public. Must also be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Experience with computerized billing and accounting systems is preferred. Cashiering experience and familiarity with utility meter billing are preferred but not required.
Starting salary: $25.86 per hour, with wage increases in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
